About Nature’s Music
This summer, Marlene Markard of Markard Music will lead Nature’s Music, a unique 5-week nature-immersion camp that’s designed to introduce children to music in a natural setting. Children will celebrate music and nature by exploring a different theme each week (trees, insects, weather, water, flowers, etc.) on the grounds of the Rainbow Preschool. Each week, children will sing, dance, move, play instruments, engage in imaginative storytelling, explore nature, and play music games about and inspired by different aspects of nature. This beautiful program is designed to foster a life-long love of music and nature. Nature’s Music is part of the Musikgarten curriculum, a leading early childhood music education program.
